Margaret Leigh Baldwin
October 30, 1970 — November 23, 2018
Margaret Leigh Hopkins Baldwin passed from the earth on November 23, 2018 from a short battle with breast cancer. She was born in Van Horn, TX to Gaines Birchel Hopkins, Jr. and Martha Faine Bricker on October 30, 1970. She is preceded in death by both her parents and her sister Lacey Elizabeth Hopkins. After her sister passed, in 1978, and her father passed in 1980 she and her mother moved to San Antonio, TX in 1983. She went to the Theodore Roosevelt High School and graduated in 1989. She worked and put herself through College graduating from UT-SA with a Bachelor of Psychology degree. She moved with her mother to Kaufman and that is where she met her husband Bradley Clark Baldwin on January 29, 2000. They were married at Kaufman church of Christ on May 28, 2000. They had a beautiful baby girl on April 2, 2003 at Presbyterian Hospital in Dallas. She and her husband loved and joked all the time. The last thing she did to him was stick out her tongue. She loved her daughter with all her heart. She would brag about how smart she was. Bethany wants to go to college to be a psychologist. Margaret loved her family and her friends with all her heart. She also loved her dogs and cats more than anything. She also loved to read and write and cook. Not only does she leave behind her husband and daughter but also 2 half-sisters Hazel Mae Trigg are husband Raymond of New Mexico and Sue Roberts of New Mexico. She also leaves behind her soul sister Teresa McCord and Steve of Mabank. She is with her heavenly father up in heaven. The memorial visitation where people can come and go and spend a few moments with the family will be held at the Parker-Ashworth Funeral Home between 12-3pm on Saturday, December 1, 2018.
