Veronica "Denise" Sanders-Whisman, 57, of Scurry, TX passed away at home on the 1st of September, 2018. Denise was born on July 27, 1961 to Johnnie and Ruby "Deloras" Sanders of Grapevine, TX. She was raised in Irving, TX, and lived in Dallas a few years prior to marrying Samuel Whisman on the 31st of May, 1993 in Dallas, TX. They moved together to Mesquite where they resided for 8 years. They then moved to Scurry with their two children. Denise worked for Allstate Insurance in Irving and enjoyed spending her time caring for her animals, sewing and knitting. She loved spending alone time with her Lord and Savior, and she cherished time spent with family. Denise was a beloved Daughter, Wife, Mother, and Sister. Her Mother, brother Tommy and his wife Nancy Sanders preceded her in death. Those left to cherish her memory are her husband Samuel, son Jacob and wife Chelsea Whisman of Ennis, TX, daughter Hayden Whisman of Scurry, TX, sister Monica and husband Klaus Liebel of Mesquite, TX, brother Billedean and wife Stacie Page of Arlington, TX, sister Amy and husband Paul Leroux of Arvada, CO, sister Katie and husband Brian Wagoner of North Hollywood, CA, nieces and nephews, and numerous extended family and friends who will miss her immensely.
