Patricia Ann Adams

Pat Adams passed away peacefully the morning of April 4th, 2017.  She was 79 and a resident of Combine, TX.  Patsy Ann Adams was born on April 29, 1937 in Alto, TX to George Fisher and Jessie Taylor Fisher.  She was raised by her Uncle John Taylor and Aunt “Pete” (Sarah Elizabeth) Taylor.  She married James Auble Adams on April 1st, 1956 in Brownfield TX.

Pat is preceded in death by both of her parents, her aunt and uncle, and her brother JW Fisher.  She is survived by her loving husband of 61 years James Auble Adams, sister Virgie Mangum and husband Don Mangum of Dalllas, TX, son James Edward Adams and wife Susan Adams of Crandall, TX, daughter Connie Johnson and husband Brian Johnson of Frisco, TX, grandson Robert Troxell and wife Kristan Troxell, granddaughter Kara Montano and husband Edgar Montano, granddaughter Bethany Adams, grandson Jacob Johnson, granddaughter Jessica Johnson, grandson Joshua Johnson, and great-grandchildren Kylie Valdez, Braxton Troxell, Katie Troxell, Brayden Montano, Gabriella Montano, and Isaac Montano.

Pat lived a strong and courageous life.  She loved having family around, but had a fierce love for each of her grandchildren.  She loved her Lord and Savior and was a charter member of the First Community Church of Crandall where she worked with the missions and benevolence ministries.  She enjoyed cooking, traveling, and gardening.  She volunteered extensively in Crandall schools and was an active member of the Crandall/Combine Lions Club.

Services will be held on April 7th at 2:00 pm at the First Community Church of Crandall.  Interment will be at the Crandall Cemetery.
