Ruby Lasher

Ruby Lee Lasher, of Warsaw, TX went to be with the Lord on January 5, 2017 at the age of 103. She was born on July 25, 1913 in Mabank, TX to Isiah and Sally Baker. Born in Mabank and raised in the Mabank and Kaufman area her whole life, she worked as a cook for the Scurry-Rosser school district until she retired. Ruby was a member of First Baptist Church of Rosser. She enjoyed her time cooking, reading and sewing. Those who preceded her are: husbands Frank Coston, Sam Richman, Willie Jones and Dean Lasher; 4 brothers, 3 sisters and a grandson Ralph Wayne Boofer. Those left to cherish her memory are: daughters Lois Pitts of Warsaw and Dorothy Cox of Warsaw; grandchildren Susie Jones, Billy Bob Boofer, Willann Terranova, Bruce Boofer, Brooka Bruns, D’Ann Woolverton, Chris Cox and Craig Cox; numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, other extended family and friends who will miss her dearly.
