George Ronald McDonald

George "Ronald" McDonald, 68, passed away at his home in Kaufman, TX on September 30, 2016.  He was born to George and Addie Ruth McDonald on August 11, 1948 in Mansfield, TX.  Ronald was a larger-than-life man who enjoyed fishing and going to the beach.  He was a very helpful man who wanted to make sure that everything was ok.  If he told you he was going to help you do something he would move heaven and earth to make sure he was there.  Ronald touched the lives of countless family, friends and strangers who would drive up his driveway off the highway needing help.  Ronald married Vicky Kirkland Johnson in Dallas, TX on March 21, 1987 in a Hot Air balloon.  He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings: Vicki Broussard and Robert Carrol McDonald.  Those left to cherish his memories are: his wife Vicky, sons Kevin McDonald and wife Candice of Kaufman and T-Rex McDonald of Kaufman, brother G.W. McDonald, grandchildren Tatum Todd-McDonald and Lukas Allen McDonald, and over 150, extended family members who will miss him dearly.  Ronald was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend.  "Don't 'cha know".
