MICHAEL RAY THARP

Michael Ray Tharp of Kaufman, Texas passed away at his home in Kaufman on June 29, 2016. Michael was born in Terrell, Texas on March 29, 1961 to Michael Edgar Tharp and Norma Jean Cox Tharp. Michael was raised in Kaufman where he lived all of his life. He worked for State Wide Surveying in Kaufman for twenty years. Michael liked to hunt, fish, play music and watch John Wayne westerns. Michael is survived by his daughters: Tara Schoenle and her husband Eugene of Kemp, Courtney Tharp of Kaufman and Chelsea Nicole Tharp of Kaufman, parents: Michael and Norma Tharp of Kemp, brother: Ricky Tharp of Kemp, twin sister: Michelle McKinney of Mabank, nine grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many other relatives and friends.
