BILLY WAYNE ROBINSON SR.

Billy Wayne Robinson Sr. was born in Van Alstyne, Texas on September 15, 1932 to Aulsie Robinson and Verdie Ellon Williams. Billy passed away in a Dallas, Texas hospital on May 7, 2016. Billy moved to Dallas at a young age and attended Crozier Tech High School. He entered the United States Army in 1951 and served during the Korean War. Billy retired for the United States Army after serving thirty-nine years. Billy married June Hale on June 6, 1952 at the Hickory Street Baptist Church in Dallas. Billy retired from the City of Dallas as a mechanic after twenty years of service.  He moved to Kaufman, Texas in 1996 where he was a member of the Grace Fellowship Baptist Church. Billy was preceded in death by his grandson Colin Robinson. He is survived by his wife: June of Kaufman, son: Billy W. Robinson Jr. and his wife Cyndi of Kaufman, daughters: Louann DeArment and her husband Mark Sr. of Kaufman and Kay Robinson Bingham of Terrell, brother: Arthur Ray O’Briant and his wife Gayle of Mesquite, grandchildren: Mark DeArment Jr. and his wife Kristina, Taylor Robinson, Ashlynn Robinson, Craig Bingham and his wife Kim, great-grandchildren: Jeff Bingham and Dustin Bingham , nieces, nephews and many other relatives and friends.
