CARRIE LOU CLEMMONS

Carrie Lou Clemmons of Rosser, Texas passed away at her home in Rosser on April 30, 2016. Carrie was born in Dallas, Texas on February 26, 1948 to L. V. Curtis and Doris Deane Snow. Carrie was raised in Rylie, Texas and lived there for fifteen years. She later moved to Rosser in 1971 when she married Dean Clemmons on July 9, 1971 in Kaufman, Texas. Carried worked many years at Daltile in Dallas and later enjoyed working as a physical therapist. She retired to focus on her family and friends. Carrie was a member of Grays Prairie Missionary Baptist Church. Carried is survived by her husband: Dean Clemmons of Rosser, sons: Bennie Lee of Tyler and Barry Gene Clemmons and his wife of Talty, Legend Lee of Rosser, daughters: Carrie “Vonnie” Lee of Hamilton, Lucy Lee and Gerald Haning of Morgan Mill, Christina Clemmons of Mesquite and Delia Voss of Mabank, brothers: Marty Lee of Tyler and Tommy Lee of Texarkana, sisters: Jan Emerson of Tool and Sherri Lee of Tyler, son-in-law: R. J. Burley of Rosser, thirteen grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
