JANA GAIL DOROUGH

Jana Gail Dorough of Kaufman, Texas passed away April 12, 2016 in Kaufman. Jana was born in Hot Springs, South Dakota to John W. Melton and Essae Lee Kimberley on August 7, 1943. After, she was born she moved to Texas and was raised in Edgewood and Kaufman. Jana later graduated from East Texas State University in Commerce, Texas. She taught school in Kemp, Dallas and Kaufman where she taught reading. Jana was a member of the Trinity Baptist Church in Kaufman and a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary. On August 22, 1965 Jana married Billy Jack Dorough in Kaufman and he preceded her in death. Jana is survived by her sons: Gary Wren Dorough of Kaufman, Billy Jack Dorough Jr. and his wife Cheryl of Burleson and Temple Melton Dorough and his wife Sue of Forney, sister: Brenda Moore of Roxton, TX, grandchildren: Cody Jack Dorough and his wife Bonnie of Kaufman, Christopher Joseph Dorough and his wife Jamie of Kaufman, great-grandchildren: Lexi, Skylar, Raylen and Eric and many other relatives and friends.
