Raymond Stanley Lisenby was born on July 16, 1927 in Mount Vernon, Illinois to Raymond and Lula Lisenby. Raymond passed away at his home in Scurry, Texas on February 10, 2016. Raymond lived a very interesting life first and foremost as a loving husband to his wife Kelly who preceded him in death. Raymond was a veteran of WWII serving in the United States Navy. He once worked as a film technician for Walt Disney Films. After his journey with Disney Raymond became a Master Potter. Raymond was very engaged in reading especially when it came to history Raymond seemed to know it all. Besides being a brilliant reader Raymond enjoyed the beach and sand. Raymond is survived by his Sons: Robert Lisenby and his wife Terry of Scurry, Texas, Stephen Lisenby of Mabank, Texas. Sisters: Janet Jines of Mount Vernon, Illinois, Rosanna Buttrum of Mount Vernon, Illinois, Grandchildren: Jeremy Lisenby and his wife Jessica of Rowlett, Texas, Heather Smith and husband Jason of Forney, Texas, Great-Grandchildren: Sara, Taylor, Kylie, Taylor.
