BRIAN MITCHELL WHISENNAND

Brian Mitchell Whisennand passed away in a Dallas, Texas hospital on January 30, 2016. Mitch was born in Houston, Texas to Karl and Ramona Whisennand. Mitch was raised in Houston and later moved to Scurry, Texas in 1998. He retired from the telecommunications industry in 2002 with Avaya. He was a member of the Country Bible Church in Kaufman. Mitch’s favorite hobby was cooking.  Mitch married Sue Rhoades on August 8, 1981 in Missouri City, Texas. He is survived by his wife: Sue of Scurry, son: Jason Michael Whisennand and his wife Summer of Texas, grandchildren: Phoenix, Chloe and Garin, parents: Karl and Ramona Whisennand of The Woodlands, brother: Jeff Whisennand of Sausalito, California, sister: Beth Ann Beethe of Houston and many other relatives and friends. Memorial services will be held Saturday February 6, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. at Country Bible Church in Kaufman. In lieu of flowers the family has asked that memorials be to the American Red Cross or Southwest Transplant Alliance.
