Rita Ann Allen

RITA ANN ALLEN Rita Ann Allen was born in Dallas on February 9, 1945 to Oscar and Lois Rushing Blanton. Rita passed away at her home in Warsaw on September 3, 2014. Rita was raised in Warsaw and graduated from Kaufman High School. She received her Bachelor's Degree from East Texas State University in Commerce. Rita was the Community Education and Public Information Director for eighteen years with the Crandall Independent School District. She also, owned and operated the Strawberry Patch Arts And Crafts Store in Seagoville. Rita married Danny Allen at Cottonwood Baptist Church on June 27, 2003. She is survived by her husband: Danny of Warsaw, sons: David Kent and his wife Piper of Dallas, Todd Kent and his wife Khindra of Crandall and David Hogue of Celina, daughter: Suzanne Hernandez of Dallas, parents: Shunnie and Lois Blanton of Warsaw, eight grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
