James William Stone

JAMES WILLIAM STONE James William Stone was born in Lone Oak, Texas on August 13, 1929 to Watt Stone and Geneva Green Stone. James passed away in a Tyler, Texas hospital on July 31, 2014. James was raised in Forney, Texas and then moved to Dallas where he lived for many years before moving to Cedar Creek when he retired. James retired from the National Guard after twenty years of service. James was a member of the Payne Springs Assembly of God Church and the Masonic Lodge in Gun Barrel. On January 4, 1952 James married Mary Ann Butler in Dallas and she preceded him in death as well as a grandson. James is survived by his sons: James Watson Stone and his wife Sharon of Hutchins, Kenneth Stone and his wife Lori of Pottsboro and Michael Stone of Payne Springs, daughter: Katherine Rose and her husband Robin of Scurry, grandchildren: Randall Stone, Sandra Flowers, Justin Stone, Joshua Stone, Stetson Stone, Jeremy Rose and Jeff Rose, ten great grandchildren and many other relatives.
