Joyce Wynona Burleson

JOYCE WYNONA BURLESON Joyce Wynona Burleson was born in Idabel, Oklahoma on April 9, 1931 to Arthur Alford and Hazel Grinage. Joyce passed away at her home in Kaufman, Texas on June 14, 2014. Joyce was raised in Corsican, Texas and moved to Dallas in 1954. When she moved to Dallas she began working for Baylor Hospital and then later moved to the Casa Linda area in Dallas and started working for Teledyne Geotech where she worked for twenty years. Later Joyce worked for Weyerhaeuser Industries for five years before retiring. She moved to Kaufman in 2005 where she was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church. On August 19, 1949 Joyce married Jack C. Burleson in Kerens, Texas and Jack preceded her in death on November 19, 1999. Joyce is survived by her son: Jack "Bud" Burleson and his wife Susan of Kaufman, granddaughter: Jamie Leann Wooley and her husband Paxton of Garland, grandson: Blake Burleson of Dallas, great-grandchildren: Madison Wooley of Garland and Charli Fraraccio and many other relatives and friends.
