Carl Deel Hughes

CARL DEE HUGHES Carl Dee Hughes was born in Dallas, Texas on November 13, 1935 to Marion and Hester Adams Hughes. Carl was raised mostly in Crandall, Texas where he graduated in 1955. He graduated from East Texas State University in 1964 and received his Masters Degree in 1973. Carl was a police officer and the chief of police in Carrollton in 1980. After Carl retired he owned and operated the Boy's Home Ranch in Crandall. He was preceded in death by his parents and his second wife Cathryn Glynn McGough in 2004. Carl married Myrna Martin in Canton, Texas on March 26, 2005. Carl is survived by his wife: Myrna of Canton, sons: Randall Hughes and his wife Carol of Heath, Dan Hughes and his wife Julie of Farmers Branch and Clifford Brown of Level land, daughters: Patricia Adams of Balch Springs, Carla Gette and her husband Alan of Florida and Darla Wright of Princeton, nine grandchildren, two great grandchildren, brothers: John Hughes and wife Mary of Kemp and Marion Hughes and wife Lydia of Combine, sister: Cinda Nowiski of Combine nieces, nephews and many other relatives. Family has requested in lieu of flowers memorials be the American Cancer Society.
