Ruth Beatrice Lemon

RUTH BEATRICE LEMON Ruth Beatrice Lemon was born in McKinney, Texas to Jessie and Addie Whittington. Ruth passed away in Terrell, Texas on May 1, 2014. Ruth was preceded by her husband of thirty-five years, Rev. George C. Hammond, second husband Woodrow Solenberg and third husband Lt. Colonel Enoch Lemon. A daughter Susan Matrunola also preceded Ruth in death. Ruth is survived by her son: Jerry L. Hammond and his wife Evelyn of St. Amant, Louisiana, daughter: Gail Hammond Farmer and her husband Dudley of Crandall, son-in-law: Pete Matrunola of Detroit, grandchildren: Lt. Colonel Michelle Hall, Brad Hammond, Scott Hammond, Christopher Farmer, Jason Hammond, Kristi Hammond Lawrence, Regina Roseburrough Epperson and Jessica Hammond Smith, fourteen great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
