Lorenzo Garza, Sr.

LORENZO GARZA SR. Lorenzo Garza Sr. of Kaufman, Texas was born in Poth, Texas on August 10, 1937 to Lolo and Eliza Serna Garza. Lorenzo passed away in a Dallas, Texas hospital on April 15, 2014. Lorenzo was raised in the Kaufman area and later moved to Kaufman in 1967 where he lived the rest of his life. Lorenzo worked for Hanson Manufacturing in Dallas for over twenty years and retired in 1991. He was a member of the Beautiful Acres Missionary Baptist Church in Scurry. On January 2, 1961 Lorenzo married Wanda Sue Franklin in Kaufman and she preceded him in death on July 7, 2006. Lorenzo was also preceded in death by his brothers Frank and Tony Garza and a sister Patsy Tijerina. Lorenzo is survived by his son: Lorenzo Garza Jr. and his wife Cathy of Scurry, daughters: Lisa Bruns and her husband Tim of Kaufman and Cynthia Garza of Kaufman, grandchildren: Caitlyn Garza, Courtney Golden, Lance Golden, Faith Saunders and Brandon Saunders, great-grandchildren: Ellie Rose Golden and Melody Reeves, sister: Eloise Gonzalez of Kaufman and many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
