Lana Ruth Scott

LANA RUTH SCOTT Lana Ruth Scott was born in Sulphur Springs, Texas on July 26, 1940 to Seawright and Gertrude Collins Stevenson. Lana passed away at her home on January 18, 2014. She was raised in Garland and graduated from Garland High School. She moved to Kaufman in 1986 and worked for State Farm Insurance in Mesquite for thirteen years before retiring. Lana was a member of Victory Church in Scurry. On Marcy 12, 1959 Lana married Gerald Wayne Scott in Murchison, Texas. Lana is survived by her husband Gerald of Kaufman, son: Jerry W. Scott and his partner Joshua Hager of Tool, daughter: Ronda Weaver of Kaufman, brother: Buck Stevenson of Dike, sister: Mary Coomer of Nevada, grandchildren: Kasey Weaver and her husband Thomas Morrow and Kody Weaver, great-grandchildren: Taytor, Kaylee, Tia, Tyson and Keytn.
