Bonnylin Lee Allmon

BONNYLIN LEE ALLMON Bonnylin Lee Allmon was born in Schulenburg, Texas on March 28, 1925 to Thomas and Erna Nordhausen McBride. Bonnylin passed away in Kaufman, Texas on January 13, 2014. Bonnylin was raised in Schulenburg and graduated high school in 1942. She moved to Galveston, Texas later and was crowned Miss Beauty and Personality at Galveston Army Airfield on August 12, 1944. After, she had moved to Houston Bonnylin moved to Irving, Lewisville, Dallas, Sugarland and then to DeSoto before moving to Kaufman in 2002. She worked for LTV in Grand Prairie for a few years. While she was in Lewisville Bonnylin was a past PTA President, past Mother Advisor of the Order of Rainbow Girls, Eastern Star and a member of the Methodist Church. She is survived by her daughters: Sandy Anderson-Thompson and her husband Michael of Collierville, Tenn., Patty D. Allmon Gray of Denton and Sharla Vrzalik and her husband Frankie of Kaufman, brother: Buddy McBride of Schulenburg, sister: Rene Sustr of Schulenburg, grandchildren: Shelley Graney, Bradley Bain, Allison Vrzalik and Madison Vrzalik, great-grandchildren: Olivia Graney, Jack Graney, Kelyn Bain and Kinlynn Gore.
