Dorothy Mae McClung

DOROTHY MAE McCLUNG Dorothy Mae McClung passed away at her home in Canton, Texas on January 1, 2014. Dorothy was born October 7, 1944 to Roy Benton Philpot and Opal Mae Bohanon. She was raised in the Rylie Community in Dallas County and attended Rylie Schools. Dorothy lived in the Dallas area all her life. She worked for RLM Industries in Dallas for over twenty years as a marker in the garment manufacturing business. Dorothy moved to Canton, Texas in 2008. She was a member of the Oak Grove Baptist Church in Dallas. Her parents and a brother Roy Philpot Jr preceded Dorothy in death. Her son survives her: Joe David McClung Jr. of Canton, brothers: Jimmy Philpot of Kemp, Rocky Philpot of Rowlett and Terry Philpot of Blossom, sisters: Jean Dalton of Grapevine, Flominda Poston of Kemp, Sue McMillan of Humble and Shirley Arnold of Emory and many other relatives and friends.
