Lertice Hill, Jr.

LERTICE HILL JR. Lertice Hill Jr. was born in Alba, Texas on August 27, 1923 to Lertice and Margaret Long Hill. Lertice was raised in Alba and in 1944 he moved to Temple, Texas to begin working for the Missouri Pacific Railroad. He later moved to Fort Worth, Texas and retired from the railroad in 1984. After, retiring Lertice moved to Mineola, Texas and then to Kaufman, Texas in 2003. Lertice was a member of the Northside Baptist Church in Mineola. On May 10, 1944 Lertice married Evelyn Maxine Huber in Alba. Lertice is survived by his wife: Evelyn of Kaufman, sons: Don Hill and his wife Janice of Kerrville and Doyle Hill of Cedar Hill, daughters: Linda Garner and her husband Monte of Keller and Debbie Endres and her husband Dean of Scurry, grandchildren: Chris Hill, Kevin Hill, Hunter Garner, Hayley Webb, Michael Hill and Erin Endres, great-grandchildren: Austin Hill, Kevin Hill, Deressa Hill and Kamryn Hill.
