Dorothy Carol Barnes

DOROTHY CAROL BARNES Dorothy Carol Barnes was born in Durant, Oklahoma on December 3, 1935 to Elzie "Jack" Robertson and Elmer Alene Beal. Dorothy passed away at her home in Scurry, Texas on October 14, 2013. Dorothy was raised in Durant and moved to Queen Creek, Arizona for a while before moving to Texas. In 1981 Dorothy moved to Scurry. In 1951 Dorothy married Billy Gene Barnes in Durant, Oklahoma and he preceded Dorothy in death on July 10, 2007. Dorothy is survived by her sons: Billy Barnes and his wife Tracey of Tishomingo, OK, Kenneth Barnes of Ada, Ok, Gary Barnes of Ada, OK., and Andrew Barnes and his wife Kammi of Scurry, daughters: Donna Wolverton of Scurry, Gayle Woodridge and her husband Jimmy of Keller, Kathy Baty of Scurry, Ann Lively and her husband Kerry of Scurry, Phyllis Barnes and her husband Robert of Scurry and Tracy Nowaski of Wylie, brothers: Billy Joe Robertson of Mesquite, Don Houston Robertson of Durant and Ricky Lynn Buchanan of Durant, sisters: Linda Sue Christian of Durant and Avis Louise Payne of Durant, twenty-two grandchildren, twenty-six great grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
