JANE C. YOUNG Jane C. Young was born in Crown Point, New York on February 4, 1935 to Gerald Albert Cowan and Eva Marion Ward. Jane passed away in a Mesquite, Texas hospital on October 11, 2013. Jane was raised in Ticonderoga, New York and started working for New England Telephone Company. She moved to the Crandall area in 1978 and began working for Southwestern Bell Telephone Company where she was an operator. Due to health Jane retired from the telephone company in 1989. Jane was a member of the First Community Church in Crandall and also the Crandall Lions Club. On June 7, 1958 Jane married Donald Lawrence young in Ticonderoga, New York. Her husband Donald preceded Jane in death on February 20, 1992. She is survived by her daughters: Denise Williams of Townsend, MA, Debbie Gratton of Waxahachie, TX, Shellie Josephson of Crandall, TX, Shanie Youngs of Keller, TX and Donna Elizardo of Coppell, TX, brother: Tommy Cowan of New York, fourteen grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
