Annie Frances Morgan Cox was born on January 22, 1929 to Douglas Lee and Velma Mae Watson Morgan in Bridgeport, Texas. Annie had four brothers and four sisters that pre-ceded her in death. They are D.L. Jr., James, John, and T.J. Morgan, sisters are Buelah Valentine, Sue Brown, Dorothy Wyatt, and Edna Morgan. Her only surviving sister is Geraldine White of Brashear, Texas. Annie moved to Chandler, Texas at the early age of 12, then moved on to Kaufman at the age of 13. At the age of14 she met the love of her life and later to be her husband. At the age of 15 she married W.M. "Preacher" Cox on Septmenber 29, 1944 at the Kaufman County Courthouse. She leaves behind to cherish her memories Robbie Antuna and husband Ruben, Rickey Cox and wife Paula, and Joye Cook and husband Mike. Two sons have preceded her in death, David A. and Mark E. Cox and her sweetheart "Preacher" whom passed away on October 13, 2001. She leaves behind 7 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren. Annie had a good journey and a great life that she wouldn't exchange for anything, so good-bye to all my family and many many friends. I'm heaven bound, no pain, sorrow, or worries, just love life like there is no tomorrow. Until we meet again, good-bye to all. I love you Robbie, Rickey, and Joye.
