EARL JUNIOR TAYLOR Earl Junior Taylor was born in Lydia, Texas on September 8, 1924 to John Wesley Taylor and Linnie Mae Peek. Earl passed away in his Kaufman, Texas home on September 1, 2013. Earl was raised in Lydia and served in the U. S. Army during World War II for a short time. After the service Earl married Jeral Dean Miller in Dallas, Texas on October 4, 1945 and he moved to Dallas that same year. He then moved to DeKalb, Texas in 1960 and back to Dallas before moving to Kaufman in 2003. Earl was a mason in the Hutchins Masonic Lodge. He worked for the Dallas Independent School District for twenty years retiring in 1995. His wife and a son Jerry Dale Taylor preceded Earl in death. He is survived by his sons: James Earl Taylor of Balch Springs, Texas and Troy Don Taylor of Kaufman, Texas, daughters: Shirley Taylor McManus of Kaufman, Texas and Celita Taylor Brown of Mesquite, Texas, sisters: Doris Aline Widemon of Canton, Texas and Mary Frances Widemon of Lydia, Texas, ten grandchildren twenty great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
