Patricia Ann Harper

PATRICIA ANN HARPER Patricia Ann Harper of Kaufman, Texas was born in Eustace, Texas on June 1, 1934 to Edison and Burena Wheeler Monroe. Pat passed away in a Dallas, Texas hospital on July 29, 2013. She was raised in Eustace and graduated from Eustace High School. Pat received her Bachelor's Degree in music from Sam Houston State University. Pat taught music for the Kaufman Independent School District for over twenty years and retired in 1991. Pat was a member of the Grace Christian Church in Kaufman where she played the piano. She was preceded in death by her husband Evon Harper on July 12, 2007, grandson Shaun Harper and her brother Eddie Kent Monroe. Pat is survived by her son: Steve Harper and his wife Cindy of Kaufman, daughter: Laura Harper of Reno, Nevada, grandchildren: Matthew Harper, Ashley Chandler, Desiree Cousineau, Sarah Harper and Zachary Harper, great-granddaughter: Evyn Chandler, brothers: Dexter Monroe of Athens and Jack Monroe of Las Vegas, Nevada.
