Helen Maxine Hutchings

HELEN MAXINE HUTCHINGS Helen Maxine Hutchings was born in Abilene, Texas on October 20, 1937 to Garland Guy Lewis and Pauline Pearl Pistocco. Maxine passed away in Kemp, Texas on July 23, 2013. She was raised in the Lancaster and DeSoto area. Her father was a Baptist minister and so they moved around the country for several years. Maxine was a representative for Avon Cosmetics for forty-four years in Indiana, Illinois and Texas. She moved to Kemp in 1972 and was a member of the Trinity Baptist Church in Kaufman. Maxine married Jimmie Lee Hutchings in Dallas in June of 1956. Jimmie preceded her in death in March of 2008. Maxine was also preceded in death by daughters Vicky Lynn Barnsley and Vivian Gay Beach, brothers, Bobby Lewis, James Lewis and Ted Lewis sister, Paula Lewis. Maxine is survived by her daughter: Ginger K. Hughey and her husband Walter of Kaufman, grandchildren: T. Shane Brockway and Leslie D. Brockway, great-grandchildren: Dayton Brockway, Mariah Brockway and Madisyn L. Rivers and many other relatives and friends.
