William Franklin Jones, Sr.

WILLIAM FRANKLIN JONES SR. William Franklin Jones was born in Dallas, Texas on November 3, 1930 to Casey and Belle Dennis Jones. Frank passed away in Seagoville, Texas on July 19, 2013. Frank was raised in Grays Prairie and then moved to Midland-Odessa for three years before moving back to Kaufman County. After he married Mildred Elizabeth Reed in 1949 Frank moved back to Dallas where he owned and operated Jones Food Store in Kleburg. After ten years Frank moved to Kaufman and opened a grocery store in Kemp for twenty years and then retired. His wife Mildred and a son William Franklin Jones Jr. preceded Frank in death, and a daughter Peggy Lynn Parent. He is survived by his son: Chris Jones of Kaufman daughters: Janis Sillivan and Darla Horton both of Seagoville, twelve grandchildren, thirteen great-great grandchildren and three great-great-great grandchildren, brothers: Asey Jones of Kaufman and Sid Jones of Dallas and many other relatives and friends.
