SHIRLEY NADINE DAVIDSON Shirley Nadine Davidson was born in Red Cloud, Nebraska on February 17, 1937 to Charles and Etta Houchin Breninger. Shirley passed away in a Rockwall hospital on July 18, 2013. Shirley was raised in St. Frances, Kansas where she married Joe Karney Davidson. She was a missionary in Africa for eighteen months helping her husband that was a minister. They traveled around the country with several churches and during those times Shirley worked as a nurse. Later Shirley was a missionary in Mexico for three years and then moved to Rosser in 1992. She worked at the Benevolence Center and also the Christian Help Center in Kaufman. She was an active member of the Kaufman Church of Christ. Shirley retired in 2006. Her husband preceded her in death and she is survived by her sons: Dennis Karney Davidson of Carrolton and Tim Davidson and his wife Janet of Royse City, daughters: Margaret Ann Johnson and her husband Mike of Hearldton, Oklahoma and Shana Marie Holder and her husband Michael of Kaufman, grandchildren: Dustin Hix, Jennifer Johnson, Jason Johnson, David Roycroft, Sarah Brim and Ross Holder, great-grandchildren: Phaedra Roycroft, Eli Johnson, Peyton Roycrroft, Benjamin Roycroft and Layne Brim, brother: Charles Roy Breninger of Kansas.
