George Nolan Powell

GEORGE NOLAN POWELL George Nolan Powell was born August 16, 1949 in Dallas, Texas to Audrey Catherine Morgan and Charles Henry Powell. George went home to heaven on June 16, 2013 in Kaufman, Texas. He moved to Kaufman in 1996. He and his wife Rex Anne enjoyed working together in every area of life, Star Striping Service, family gatherings, gardening, fishing, and living life well. He loved his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ with his whole heart. George loved to be with his church family fellowshipping and worshipping at Kaufman First Assembly of God. George took great joy and passion in gardening and homegrown cooking. His muffin ministry blessed many. George expressed his love toward others through generosity, sharing and serving his family, friends and business family. He was tenderhearted towards his dogs and loved to laugh, smile and tell goofy jokes. Sunrise to Sunset George was constantly working with his hands or studying to figure out how things worked, so he could produce with excellence. He took great pleasure in sharing his life with all who entered in. But the one thing that changed his whole life was the birth of his two grandsons who made him laugh and laugh and laugh. George is survived by his wife Rex Anne Nutt-Powell, son: Matthew Powell and his wife Natasha, daughter: Jennifer Powell, grandsons: Dixon and Ethan Powell, brother: Dennis Powell and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
