Tommy Marbry Ruth

TOMMY MARBRY RUTH Tommy Marbry Ruth was born in Boswell, Oklahoma on July 17, 1936 to William Griever Ruth and Dilly Daisy Kilmer. Tommy passed away at his home in Kaufman on June 21, 2013. Tommy was raised in Boswell and then entered the U. S. Navy where he served in Viet Nam. After the service Tommy moved to Dallas where he started working for the U. S. Postal service in 1959 where he worked for thirty-eight years. Tommy retired in 1996 and then moved to Kaufman in 1971. On May 2, 1958 Tommy married Annie Nazary in Dallas. He was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church the VFW and the Masonic Lodge. Tommy is survived by his wife: Annie of Kaufman, daughters: Jean Ann Collins and her husband Brent of Princeton and Denise Miles and her husband Mark of Bastrop, sister: Pauline Patterson of Mesquite, grandchildren: Kyle Collins, Colt Collins, Lexi Miles an Trent Miles.
