SILAS RAY ALLGYER Silas Ray Allgyer, born May 9, 1974 in Pensacola, Florida, passed away at his home in Scurry, TX on March 23, 2013. He is survived by his wife Betty (Shank) Allgyer, two sons, Winfred(10), Waldino(1), and five daughters, Lolita(13), Tanya(11), Juanita(8), Olivia(6), and Victoria(4) all at home. In addition to his parents, Lester and Lillian Allgyer of Scurry, TX, he is survived by three brothers, Marcus Allgyer and wife Martha of Sterling, AK, Jared Allgyer of Free Union, VA, Joel Allgyer of Sterling, AK, and three sisters, Tabitha, wife of Lee Martin of Emory, TX, Ruth Allgyer of Vineland, NJ, Laura, wife of John Stover of Soldotna, AK, and paternal grandfather, Leroy Allgyer Sr. of Womelsdorf, PA. He was involved in the construction industry all his life and was the managing partner of Porter Bluff Construction. He served as minister for 10 years at the Grays Prairie Mennonite Church.
