Troy Dale Ellis

TROY DALE ELLIS Troy Dale Ellis was born in Hope, Arkansas on June 4, 1939 to Oran C. Ellis and Lila G. Ellis. Troy passed away at his home in Scurry on March 12, 2013. Troy moved to Fort Worth as a young child in 1945. In 1968 he moved to Prairieville and then to Scurry in 1970. He was a member of the Four Mile Lutheran Church in Prairieville and he was a rodeo producer for Ellis Rodeo Company and he also owned and operated the Ellis Land and Cattle Company. Troy married Judy Carol Bassham in Fort Worth on November 6, 1959. He is survived by his wife: Judy of Scurry, sons: Scott Ellis and his wife Angie of Kemp and Bruce Ellis and his wife Dana of Round Rock, sister: Brenda McMillan of Fort Worth, grandchildren: Haley Ellis, Joshua Ellis, Lauren Ellis and Benjamin Ellis and many other relatives and friends.
