Charles Edward Martin Sr.

CHARLES EDWARD MARTIN SR. Charles Edward Martin Sr. was born in Dallas, Texas on November 11, 1942 to Bert and Ruby Lee Skirlock Martin. Charles went to be with the Lord at his home in the Blackjack Community on January 5, 2013. Charles was raised in Rylie and later moved to Mesquite after he married to raise his family. In 1993 Charles moved to Kaufman County and retired in 2002. He was a deacon in the Blackjack Missionary Baptist Church. On September 8, 1959 Charles married Rena Eudora Wheat in Kaufman, Texas. Charles is survived by his wife: Rena of Kaufman, son: Charles Edward Martin Jr. and wife Kimberlee of Kaufman, daughters: Misti Dawn Graham of Keller and Wendy Gale Arnold and her husband David of Emory, sisters: Charlotte Simmons of Edgewood and Joan Carlton of Lantana, brother-in laws: John Wheat of Kaufman and Mike Wheat of Wimberly, grandchildren: Amanda Carter and her husband Roger, Charles Edward Martin III and his wife Jennifer, Ethan Martin, Maci Graham, Jordan Graham, Lee Reynolds and his wife Devon, Tiffany Fulgham and her husband Nathan, Dakota Reynolds, Matt Arnold, and Chris Arnold and his wife Jennifer, eight great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
