Herman Lee King

Herman Lee King of Kaufman passed away on November 24, 2012. H.L., as he was commonly known, was born on February 25, 1939 in Red River County Texas. He entered the U.S. Army in 1957 and was stationed in Berlin, Germany. On November 23, 1960 he married Carolyn Ruth Minter in Kerrville, TX. He retired from Maryland Club Coffee, a division of Coca Cola. He is survived by his wife of 52 years Carolyn King, daughter: Donna King of Kaufman, son Jody King and his wife Kristi of Forney, and son Jason King of Forney. Grandchildren: Christie Boyd and her husband Joshua, Ashley Hare, Kade King, Rylee King and Heath King, Sisters Charlsie Hudgins and Zana Berry and Brother Howard Barnwell. He was also loved by many nieces and nephews In Lieu of flowers the family request donations to either the American Diabetes Association or the American Heart Association.
