PHYLLIS CHARLENE TURNER Phyllis Charlene Turner was born in Spearman, Texas on April 24, 1930 to Charles Curtis Chambers and Priscilla Leota Hancock. Phyllis passed away at her home in the Becker Community on November 19, 2012. Phyllis moved to Lubbock, Texas in 1936 where she was raised and she graduated from Lubbock High School in 1947. In 1951 Phyllis moved to Panama with her husband Scott Turner. She moved back to Lubbock in 1953 then to Kaufman in 2004. She was a member of the First united Methodist Church of Lubbock and a life member of the Eastern Star. Phyllis is survived by her sons: Charles Kenneth Turner of Highland Village, Texas and Michael Louis Turner of Kaufman, Texas, brother: J. C. Chambers of Lubbock, Texas, grandchildren: Lindsay Myers, Andrew Turner, Patrick Turner and Ericka Sample, great-grandchildren: Cooper, Ellery, Lucas, Scotlin and Kindsor and many other relatives and friends.
