Debra Elaine "Deb-O" Copes was born on August 20, 1953 in Bossier City, La to Thomas and Audrey Copes. Debra went home to her Lord on November 14, 2012 in Kaufman, Texas. Debra lived a happy and rewarding life caring for others. She was a member of the Newton Baptist Church in Del Hi Louisiana. While living in Kaufman Debra worked for the Department of Human Services as a social worker and helped her loving companion John with the Lawn Service business. Debra and John were loving companions for 35 years. Debra was such a caring person that it was her request to become an organ donor in order to help others. She is survived by her husband John Rough of Kaufman; Sister Tami Mitchell of Kaufman; Best Friend Lynn Evans of Kaufman; Aunt; Cloe Black of Del Hi, Louisiana; Uncle; Greenlee Copes of Del Hi, Louisiana; Cousin Tommy Haywood of Del Hi, Louisiana; Mother-In-Law Leola Rough of Kaufman; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
