MICHAEL WAYNE JACKSON Michael Wayne Jackson passed away peacefully from this world surrounded by his loving family. He was born June 3, 1946 and went home to be with the Lord on October 1, 2012 at the age of 66. He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Julia White Jackson; daughter Linda Jackson Murrell of Kaufman; son David Jackson of Scurry; three grandchildren including James M. Murrell of College Station; Alexis P. Jackson of Lubbock and Daniel G. Murrell of Kaufman. He is also survived by his sister Freddie Gable of Wichita Falls and brother Jerry Jackson of Kaufman. He is preceded in death by his parents, Virgil W. Jackson, Sr. and Nauby Pauline Page as well as two brothers, Virgil W. Jackson, Jr. and John W. Jackson. Mike loved his family tremendously. He was a good father and an even better grandfather. He was a gifted welder and owned Mike's Welding Service for many years. Later he became a member of the Plumbers & Steamfitters Local #100 until his retirement. He loved working in his shop and spent his last years playing golf with his children and two grandsons. His body gave way to the cancer but his spirit will forever live on.
