Christopher James Mitchell

CHRISTOPHER JAMES MITCHELL Christopher James Mitchell, 37, of Kaufman, passed away September 18, 2012. He was born February 9, 1975. Chris attended Kaufman schools and grew up in the Kaufman Church of Christ. He was an accomplished wood-worker and avid fisherman. A devoted Texas Ranger's fan, Chris also enjoyed relaxing among the quiet expanses of his family's hunting lease in Central Texas. Chris was preceded in death by his mothers Linda Sue Mitchell (1946 - 1983) and Kathy Mitchell (1948 - 2006), as well as his grandmothers Lorene Mitchell and Gladys Edwards. Left to cherish Chris' memory are five children: Imelda Sue Mitchell and her mother Mary Herrera; Christopher James "Chip" Mitchell, and his mother Dalia Mitchell; Elizabeth Christine Mitchell and her mother Tammy Sneed; and Christen Jae Mitchell and her mother Angel Parker. Chris also leaves behind his parents Benson and Sherry Mitchell; his brother Rodney Wray; and his sisters; Julie Mayo, Jill Castellano, Julie Beth Fox, Jane Lucas and their respective families. Chris will be remembered by the family, friends, co-workers and acquaintances he leaves behind for his kind heart and cheerful disposition.
