DENISE BLACK Denise Black was born in Dallas, Texas on November 14, 1961 to Thomas Albert Dube and Myrna June Roberts. Denise passed away in Dallas, Texas on September 5, 2012. Denise was raised in Dallas, Denison and Cedar Park where she graduated from high school. After she graduated Denise worked for Texas Instruments in Austin before joining the U. S. Navy where she served for eight years. After the service Denise moved back to Texas and later moved to Grays Prairie in 1996. She received her associate's degree in nursing from Trinity Valley Community College and then worked for a short time in Kaufman. Denise then went to work for the Veterans Medical Center in Dallas in the hospice department. She was a member of the Cottonwood Baptist Church. On August 30, 1992 Denise married George A. Black in Houston, Texas. Denise was preceded in death by her father and is survived by her husband: George A. Black Jr. of Scurry, sons: Kolt Bonner and Kody Wyatt Black both of Scurry, mother: Myrna Jorgensen of Port St. Lucie, Florida, brothers: Thomas Albert Dube III of Henderson and Ronald Jorgensen of Waco, sisters: Kibby Jorgensen of Port St. Lucie, Florida and Jetta Holden of New Bern, North Carolina, uncle: T. P. Roberts, cousins: Chris, Brian, David, and Sarah and many other relatives and friends.
