Kathleen Gothard Baker

KATHLEEN GOTHARD BAKER Kathleen Gothard Baker passed away in a Kaufman hospital on September 1, 2012. Kathleen was born in Ellis County on September 28, 1923 to Ezra Gothard and Annie Mae Barrow. Kathleen was raised in Ennis. She later moved to Dallas in 1940 where she lived the rest of her life. Kathleen co-owned the Parry Cleaners in Dallas for twenty-five years. She worked for Travelers Insurance in Dallas for fifteen years before retiring in 1988. She was a member of the Cottonwood Baptist Church. Kathleen is survived by her daughters: Benita Rich and her husband Don of Dallas and Kathy Baker Mackey and her husband Denny of Crandall, "adopted daughter": Andrea Brantley, grandchildren: Leo Chandler and his wife Jana, Dan l Mackey Almy and her husband Andrew, Jody Chandler and his wife Rhonda, great-grandchildren: Mason Chandler, C. T. Chandler, Mackey Payton Almy, Jilliann Chandler, Josh McCoy and Brayden Milanic.
