Reba Joyce Cecil

REBA JOYCE MONTGOMERY CECIL Reba Joyce Cecil was born in Copeville, Texas on November 11, 1931 to John and Winnie Edwards Montgomery. Reba passed away in Garland, Texas on July 23, 2012. She was raised in Copeville and then moved to Dallas. Reba later moved to Balch Springs in 1955 where she lived the rest of her life. Reba was a member of the Midway Church of Christ. She loved helping raise the grandkids and taking care of horses. On February 7, 1948 Reba married Samuel Joseph Cecil Jr. and he preceded her in death in December of 1982. Her daughters Billie Gale Smith and Betty Jeanette Cecil also preceded Reba in death. Reba is survived by her sons: Kenneth Cecil and wife Derese of Scurry, David Cecil of Terrell, Dennis Cecil of Terrell, Jimmy Cecil of Balch Springs and Mark Cecil of Dallas, daughter: Francis Howard of Royce City, brother: Bobby Montgomery and wife Sandy of Arkansas, sisters: Barbara Vickers and husband Jerry of Garland and Cora Nell Nall and husband Roy of Copeville, grandchildren: Robert Howard, Kristi Holt, Jeremy Cecil, John Smith, Maggie Lenig and Steven Cecil, great-grandchildren: Dustin, Kinley, Samuel, Holly, Carson and Rylee.
