Rita R. Higgins

RITA R. HIGGINS Rita R. Higgins was born in Ardmore, Oklahoma on November 20, 1923 to William and Louis Elizabeth Yarbro Worthen. Rita passed away in Kaufman, Texas on July 19, 2012. She was raised in Ardmore, Oklahoma and then moved to Oregon in 1941 and later moved to California for several years. Rita moved to Texas in 1967 and then to Kaufman in 2005. She married Lonnie Higgins in Altus, Oklahoma in 1940. Lonnie preceded her in death in 1998. She is survived by her daughter: Ann Harrison of Kaufman, brother: Oscar Worthen of Yuba City, California, grandchildren: Debra Vega and her husband Jimmy, Terry Watson and his wife Sherrill, Eddie Scarbrough and his wife Debbie and Risa Vega, eight great-great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren, numerous nephews, nieces and cousins.
