Frank Bland Rhea, Jr.

FRANK BLAND RHEA, JR. Frank Bland Rhea, Jr. was born in Forney, Texas on July 22, 1922 to Frank and Nell Hill Rhea. Frank passed away at his home in Kaufman, Texas on July 10, 2012. Frank was raised in Forney, Texas where he graduated from Forney Highs School in 1940. Frank left college to enter the U. S. Navy where he served in World War II. After the service Frank returned to college and later he owned and operated his own business for thirty years. Frank later was the head of construction for Corigan Properties where he retired. He moved to Kaufman in 1982 where he was a member of the Country Bible Church and the American Legion. Frank was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Forney and was a former mayor of Forney. On July 25, 1979 Frank married Joyce Marie Long in Canton, Texas. A son Ronald Fox preceded Frank in death. He is survived by his wife: Joyce of Kaufman, sons: Rhea Fox of Laga Vista, Frank B. Rhea III of Philadelphia and John Richard Fox of Kaufman, daughter: Debra Porter of Arlington, son-in-law: Douglas Inmon, fifteen grandchildren, twenty-two great-grandchildren and two great great grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
