Robert Samuel Houston

ROBERT SAMUEL HOUSTON Robert Samuel Houston was born in Combine, Texas on February 8, 1931 to Talmadge and Jennie Bell Reed Houston. Robert was raised in Seagoville and graduated from Seagoville High School in 1949. He was a welder working in the eastern part of the United States welding on pipelines. Later, Robert opened his own welding company in the early 1970's. He married Margaret Wynell Stevens in Crandall, Texas on September 19, 1953. He was a member of the Crandall Church of Christ. Robert loved all different sports. Robert was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Rudolph and Tommy Houston. Robert is survived by his wife: Wynell of Crandall, daughter: Marsha Davidson of Comanche, Texas, sons: Holton Houston, Phillip Houston and Steve Houston all of Crandall, brothers: Charles Houston and Lance Houston both of Crandall, sisters: Bernice Woody of Seagoville, Wanda Moon of Ferris, Carol Dixon of Bristol, Maureen Tomlinson of Crandall and Linda Baker of Crandall, eleven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
