William Gene Pate

WILLIAM GENE PATE William Gene Pate of Gun Barrel City, Texas was born in Buffalo, Texas on March 8, 1949 to William Wesley Pate and Stella Grissett. Gene passed away in a Tyler, Texas hospital on May 2, 2012. Gene was raised in Buffalo and then moved to De Soto, Texas where he lived a long time before moving to Arlington, Texas. Gene later moved to the Cedar Creek Area in 1992. On April 19, 2002 Gene married Kathy D. Johnson in Gun Barrel City, Texas. Gene is survived by his wife: Kathy of Gun Barrel City, mother: Stella Lloyd of Lake City, Florida, father: William Wesley Pate of Greenville, sons: Frank Graves of Zanesville, Ohio, James Mercer of Mabank, Roberpaul Mercer of Houston, Joey Cameron of Little Rock, Arkansas, David Cameron of Little Rock and Gabriel Bishop of Kemp, daughter: Shannon Cameron of Little Rock, Arkansas, brothers: Tommy Pate, Randy Pate and Kurt Pate all of Lake City, Florida, sisters: Rosie Woods of Lake City, Florida, Betty Jones of Tennessee, Cathy Stanley of Kemp, Margaret Childers of Greenville, Debbie Kay Braves of Gun Barrel City and Debbie Ann Sylva of Kaufman, eighteen grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
