James Leland Holcomb

JAMES LELAND HOLCOMB James Leland Holcomb was born in Hot Springs, Arkansas on December 31, 1946 to Harry Harmon Holcomb and June Bryan. James passed away at his home in Kaufman on April 28, 2012. James was raised in Athens and Kaufman. He moved to Kaufman in 1956 and later moved to Dallas and in 1982 James moved back to Kaufman. He worked for the City of Wylie as a purchasing agent for twenty-three years before retiring on January 31, 2012. James was involved in the Kaufman County Community Theater for twenty years. On August 4, 1971 James married Wanda Sue Froggatt in Kaufman, Texas. James is survived by his wife: Wanda of Kaufman, sons: David Justin Holcomb of Statesboro, Georgia and Harry Alexander Holcomb of Kaufman, nephew: Gary Holcomb, nieces: Nita Jo Lightfoot and Joann Holcomb and many other relatives and friends.
