Lloyd Clifton Pool

Lloyd Clifton Pool was born in Ola, Texas on January 12, 1935 to Thomas Edward Pool and Lula Lee Baldwin. Lloyd passed away in a Dallas, Texas hospital on March 5, 2011. Lloyd was raised in the Ola Community and attended Kaufman schools. He worked at Manselle Smith's Exxon in Terrell for several years and later began working for Timberlawn Hospital in Dallas. Lloyd later worked for Beverly Hills hospital in Dallas and retired there after twenty-nine years. He then began working for Sherwin-Williams Paint in 1999. Lloyd was an honorary member of the VFW # 3905 in Kaufman. He married Norma Jean Roberts in Terrell on October 19, 1951. Lloyd is survived by his wife: Norma Jean of Kaufman, daughter: Joy Hickman of Garland, grandchildren: Pricilla McCollum of Richardson and Amanda Hickman of Garland, great-grandchildren: Devan and Dylan McCollum, brothers: Finis Pool of Payne Springs, J. T. Pool of Balch Springs and Joe Pool of Terrell and many other relatives and friends.
