Melvin Stanley Donawho was born in Ennis, Texas on April 5, 1943 to William Otto and Maudie Dockery Donawho. Stanley passed away in a Dallas hospital on January 21, 2012. He grew up in Rosser and graduated from Scurry-Rosser High School. Stanley was a graduate of Bible studies through the Institute of Biblical Studies. He worked for Sysco Foods in Dallas for twenty-six years and retired as an executive. Stanley served on the Scurry-Rosser School Board for five years. He was a Bible believing Christian. On November 19, 1962 Stanley married Linda Blythe in Dallas, Texas. Stanley is survived by his wife: Linda of Kaufman, sons: Kyle Donawho of San Antonio and Michael Donawho of Carrollton, grandchildren: Brittany Rikard, Amanda Donawho, Lacie Smith, Emily Donawho and Janine Donawho, great-grandson: Blaze Rikard, brother: Curtis Donawho of Warsaw and many other relatives and friends.
