Wayne Ray Morrow

Wayne Ray Morrow was born in Mexia, Texas on May 28, 1946 to William and Lois Sheets Morrow. Wayne passed away in Athens, Texas on August 19, 2009. Wayne was raised in Fort Worth and Arlington and attended the University of Texas at Arlington. He joined the U. S. Army in 1966 serving in Viet Nam. Wayne was discharged from the Army in 1968 and then worked for J. C. Penny for eighteen years. He moved to the Scurry Community in 1984 and began working for Madix in Terrell where he worked for twenty years. Wayne was a member of the Baptist Church. He married Nita Faye Houx in Kaufman, Texas on December 12, 1970. Wayne was preceded in death by his father and is survived by his wife: Nita of Scurry, sons: Jimmy Morrow of Arlington, Tracy Morrow of Grand Prairie, Mart Morrow of Keller and Mike Morrow of Scurry, daughters: Cathy Morrow of Arlington, Deanna Williams of Kemp and Shelly Hudgens of Kaufman, mother: Lois Imogene Morrow of Cedar Hill, brothers: Billy Morrow of Mineola, Larry Morrow of Mineola and Eddie Morrow of Arlington, sister: Marilyn Byington of Oklahoma, ten grandchildren, one great-grandchild and many other relatives and friends.
